David Foster Wallace - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David Foster Wallace was the super genius author of the best book I’ve never been able to finish, Infinite Jest… His fiction is so dense with ideas, rare rhetorical devices, and obscure words, that I’d labor for an hour or so over a couple of pages… Despite the inaccessibility, his work is still engaging, enlightening, and often hilarious.
He hanged himself on September 12, 2008.

What an awesome idea.
Stick a piece of frozen bacon into your alarm clock before you go to bed… ten minutes before your alarm is set to go off, a set of halogen lights turn on and begin to cook the strip of bacon.
When the cursed alarm finally does go off, it offers you a piece of delicious bacon as a sort of apology for waking you up.
It’s kind of cute too…

This game is really fun… Kinda like Edward Gorey designing a zombie game that’s a mix of the old school Warcraft and Tetris. It looks great, has a fun story line, and it’s fun to play.

Steve Schofield uses his photography to explore Britain’s fascination with American pop culture… particularly the fanboy/girl subcultures. A lot of klingons, captain Kirks, and storm troopers, but all are filmed in their native habitats… ie bedrooms, living rooms, and my favorite, Chewbacca in the kitchen…
